Surgix Instruments Veterinary Pin Grips & Wire Extraction Forceps

Streamline your post-operative hardware removals and intraoperative adjustments with the Surgix Instruments Veterinary Pin Grips and Wire Extraction Forceps Collection. Forged for high-performance veterinary orthopedics, this professional-grade range provides veterinary surgeons with the immense mechanical advantage and unyielding grip required to pull, twist, and extract stubborn orthopedic pins, Kirschner wires (K-wires), and cerclage wires from dense bone.

From small animal fracture hardware management to large animal equine orthopaedic revisions, our collection features specialised extraction tools—including heavy-duty multi-bore pin pullers, t-handle wire grippers, and knurled-handle extraction pliers—built to withstand maximum torsional and pulling forces.

Why Choose Surgix Extraction Instruments?

• Slip-Free Mechanical Grip: Engineered with aggressive internal cross-serrations, hardened jaws, or multi-bore cannulated ports that lock tightly onto smooth implant surfaces, completely preventing instrument slippage during high-torque extractions.
• Maximum Hand-to-Instrument Leverage: Features elongated, heavy-duty handles with deep knurled textured grips to ensure optimal hand placement and prevent hand slippage, even when wearing wet surgical gloves.
• Minimises Bone & Tissue Trauma: Optimized jaw profiles allow for close-to-bone axial alignments, ensuring that the pin or wire is extracted along its exact insertion pathway to reduce structural bone tracking or soft-tissue tearing.
• Premium Surgical Stainless Steel: Every instrument in this extraction collection is manufactured from high-density, corrosion-resistant surgical steel, ensuring total structural integrity under extreme pulling tension and long-term autoclavable durability.
