Our Story Begins — 1990
In 1990, the late Mr Muhammad Riaz established the family instrument business in Sialkot with a straightforward principle: build reliable instruments through skilled workmanship, attention to detail and strong customer relationships.
What began as a family manufacturing operation developed through years of practical experience serving customers and international markets.
The knowledge accumulated over those decades became the foundation for the business we continue to develop today.
More than three decades later, that manufacturing heritage remains at the heart of our story.
Continuing the Manufacturing Tradition
Today, the family's manufacturing activities continue through Shark Instruments (Private) Limited in Sialkot, Pakistan.
Shark Instruments is responsible for the manufacture, production quality and export fulfilment of the instruments represented through Surgix.
Its manufacturing capabilities support a broad range of surgical, dental, veterinary and other precision instruments, together with OEM and private-label requirements for international customers.
Manufacturing combines established instrument-making skills with modern production methods, careful finishing and quality-control processes.
2026 — A New Chapter
In 2026, Surgix Instruments was launched in the United Kingdom to develop the international side of the business and build stronger relationships with customers around the world.
Rather than replacing the manufacturing heritage established in Sialkot, Surgix was created to take that experience into its next chapter.
